Fok People

I had a dream while I was guiding about one of the other guilds on the river.

This dream was not about sex, it was about the Arkansas River in Colorado, and that certain peole become expressions for the larger natural spirits that inhabit the landscape.

In this case the river was like Sam and Sam was like the river. Both with spirits of their own, but also sharing a common spirit that was merged together. Like she was an extension of the rivers spirit, and not truly separate. That the river inhabits her and speaks through her, but not like like a possessive ghost, but in a natural fashion that strengthened Samantha's personality.

I call this sort of person folk. Folk do not come from the city or town to restore themselves in nature... they are part of the natural landscape. They are quickly sick or not right in the spirit when away from nature which is their source. Whether this be a river, a mountain range or the plains. All of which have a soul that includes a person or group of persons with an affinity for that landscape. These are the Folk People and the truest form of folk music.
